Aquarius

January 21st - February 19th

Aquarius the Air Sign. Well, Aquarians are an enigma; they are a very mixed bunch, all with one thing in common - originality. Many Astrologers suggest that Aquarians think now how we will be thinking 20 years in the future; they are indeed ahead of their time. It is generally believed that Aquarians are the most humanitarian sign of the zodiac. In many ways this is true, but it doesn't mean to say they actually want to go out and physically save the whale or plant the tree. They do, however, tend to think how mankind can live harmoniously in the world. Female Aquarians are very glamorous with a strong air of originality; they have a very creative air about them and love many and varied things, all with a creative tilt. Aquarian women fit quite simply into two categories: One, the incredible romantic who would not hurt a fly and only wants to be in a happy, loving and long lasting relationship. Two, the more common type, is the girl who can be romantic when it suits her, who loves relationships but hates commitment.

They have strong views, even if they don't debate them. They are willing to listen to people and take in all that they hear. Indeed, all Aquarians are sponges when it comes to knowledge. They love associating themselves with intellectual, creative people to learn from. Aquarian women seem to land on their feet and in many respects are very lucky when it comes to opportunities, but sadly few of them have the drive to follow through to reach their goals. A fantastic, glamorous career could be offered them on a plate yet they don't seem to be that interested. For all Aquarians have an air of distance about them. It's almost like they're enclosed in glass domes, seeing and listening to the outside world but no one can get in. While the Cancerian builds a wall or shell as protection for their soft inner selves, the Aquarian has a clear veneer not for protection; it is just their natural state. Therefore, like the Capricorn, they can appear at times cold, or at the very least distant.

Yet Aquarians, especially the males, like to think of themselves as a people person; they mix in every social circle. This is usually their strong point and helps them gain what they want out of life. Our Aquarian males are incredibly tenacious; if they have an ultimate goal, they will usually get there some how, whereas the females drift through life and if they're successful it is very rarely through their own planning. Where Aquarians are concerned, if you start dating one, before you know it you're either in a full blown relationship, even living together or they have vanished without a trace, usually leaving you still thinking you are at least a good friend, as Aquarians hate to fall out with their exes. Aquarian males have drive, although it is not apparent. This is true in every aspect of their life. You may meet an Aquarian male and within the space of two months be living together thinking you are totally in love, but if you're unlucky, within the space of two years he will manipulate the situation so you end the relationship. This is because he has decided he wants to be alone for a period of time. It's an incredible thing to observe, especially if you're not on the receiving end, but Aquarians can switch on or off their emotions when suited. This is still true of Aquarian females but it is not as marked.

All Aquarians are intrigued by fame. This doesn't mean to say they themselves wish to be famous although many of them can step into the limelight. They are more often just associated in a behind-the-scenes creative way. Intellectually, all Aquarians are far more intelligent than they can seem. They love intellectual banter and the challenge of an intellectual partner is very stimulating to them. They would never admit it but they love the game. If you get involved with an Aquarian let it go at their pace and you could enjoy an enlightening relationship. Occasionally you have to watch out for their duality where relationships are concerned. Like Geminis, some Aquarians have the ability to lead a double life, even to the extreme of two separate relationships each with a separate home. Especially if they work away from home a lot, be on your guard. But on the whole if your Aquarian man has a consuming passion or career, then you are safe. Or if your female Aquarian partner feels loved and has a creative outlet you will also be involved in a wonderful relationship. Aquarians' health problems are always related to their circulation. You can always tell an Aquarian from the icy cold feet in bed! Aquarians are usually in a healthier state of mind in cold weather but they must wrap up well. Ankles are problematic too.
